IT risk assessments

Find out where your organisation is exposed before someone else does. We review your IT and give you a clear, prioritised plan to fix what matters most.

What we look at

A rounded view of your technology, not just a scan of your network.

Cyber security

Devices, accounts, email, firewall and Wi-Fi. Are updates applied? Is multi-factor authentication switched on? Who has admin rights? How easy would it be to get in?

Data protection

Where your personal and sensitive data lives, who can access it, and whether it's handled in line with UK GDPR. That includes the data on laptops, phones and shared drives.

System reliability

Backups, single points of failure, ageing hardware and software that's out of support. What would happen if a key system stopped working tomorrow?

Compliance

Policies, licensing and the security requirements of your insurers, clients, regulators or funders, and whether you could show you meet them.

How it works

  1. Initial conversation

We talk through how your organisation works, what systems you use and anything that's already worrying you.

  2. Review

We review your setup on site and remotely, working around your team to keep disruption to a minimum.

  3. Report

You get a written report in plain English, with each risk ranked by how likely it is and how much damage it could do.

  4. Walkthrough

We go through the findings with you and agree what to tackle first. You decide what to act on, with us or on your own.

When an assessment makes sense

There's never a bad time to find out where you stand, but these are the moments it's most useful.

  • Your cyber insurance is up for renewal
  • You're preparing for Cyber Essentials and want to know what needs fixing
  • A client, funder or regulator is asking about your security
  • You're changing IT provider or taking IT in house
  • You've had a security scare or a near miss
  • Your organisation has grown and your IT hasn't kept up
  • It's simply been a while since anyone looked
